An advanced course for athletes interested in developing their fundamentals and proper techniques of sprinting and jumps.
Programming indicated as open is available for drop-in however pre-registration in advance is required. We offer the following programs and classes:
An advanced course for athletes interested in developing their fundamentals and proper techniques of sprinting and jumps.
Jumping isn't easy but with this class it will be. This class will teach High Jump techniques for novice vertical jumpers.
An intermediate course to develop hurdle techniques through advanced drills.
This class will focus on exercises and drills to enhance proper techniques in hurdling.
This class will focus on exercises and drills to enhance proper jumping techniques for beginners.
Whether you like to run or love to run, this course is designed to develop Middle Distant Runners in the 800m and the Mile to Long Distance Runners in the 3K, 5K and 10K. Athletes’ mileage will be monitored and times will analyzed for individual growth at your own pace.
Track and field facility is available for pole vault training. Individuals will be able to practice on pole vault training only. Participants must bring their own poles. No officials, or timing equipment will be available.
Participants will learn about the proper grip, stances and what generates distance on throws. This course will teach the developing techniques for novice and experienced Shot Put & Discus throwers.
This class will teach the fundamentals and proper techniques of sprinting and relays.
Participants will learn the basics of sprinting, hurdling, relay running and field events, as well as proper warm up and flexibility exercises.
Track and field facility is available for training. Individuals will be able to practice on sprints, hurdles, and field events. No officials, timing equipment or pre-set teams. Minimal training equipment will be provided.
