In partnership with the Chicago Park District and National Women and Girls in Sports Day, the BOWA Gives Girls’ Invite is hosting two full days of programming and competition for Chicagoland female athletes to feel inspired, empowered to grow, lead and excel.

Day 1: Saturday, February 8th, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Downtown Chicago, Location TBD

Dedicated to enriching workshops, panel discussions, special guest
speakers and partner activations that highlight athletic training tailored
for girls, strategies for college readiness and other informative and
engaging topics. Guest speakers and former female athletes will be on
hand to lead sessions and engage with attendees.

Day 2: Sunday, February 9th, All Day
Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center
Join us on the track for a day of friendly, spirited competition for all
participants.

The BOWA Gives Girls’ Invite events are for girls ages 5-18, however, see registration details on age restrictions. Athletes can register individually or with their team. Registration required for all weekend events.

January 22nd is the deadline to submit IHSA waivers (Illinois HS Athletes) if your school has started practice. Your Athletic Director must do this in the schools center. Register here on MileSplit. We're collecting Coats and Warm Clothing now through December 16 🧥 You can help share warmth with people in need! National nonprofit @onewarmcoat provides free coats to children and adults in need while promoting volunteerism and environmental sustainability. Here’s how you can help: Donate coats & warm clothing! During November 11 - December 16 stop by Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center to drop off gently worn or new coats and warm clothing (winter hats, scarves, gloves, snow pants, sweaters). All items collected will be distributed locally to people in need. We hope that you will support our coat drive and help us share warmth with children and adults in need!

🍬 Leftover Halloween candy? Donate to @soldiersangelsofficial Treats for Troops program to ensure that “No Soldier Goes Unloved” this season! Through their Treats for Troops program, Soldiers’ Angels will collect excess Halloween candy and hand it out to veterans in VA Hospitals across the country. We are accepting candy donations in the lobby now through November 11th.
