Basketball
Open Basketball is offered throughout the week. No officials or pre-set teams and dunking is not permitted. Drop-in is are welcome, check in at the front desk.
The Dr. Conrad Worrill Track & Field Center at Gately Park is your local Chicago Park District facility offering activities and programs for all ages and skill levels. Registration for all programs is done on the Chicago Park District website. Open programs and Drop-in activities can be registered for in advance online, or in-person at the front desk.

Open Pickleball is offered Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays from 9am - 12pm. Register for the entire session for $25 or drop-ins for $3 per session.
Track & Field classes are offered in each activity area and includes programs designed for begginers to advance athletes.
Programs include Intro to Volleyball, Drills & Serves, and Clinics. Open Volleyball is also offered and drop-ins are welcome.
Track and field facility is available for walking or running at your own pace. This is free and open to the public. Check-in at the front desk.
This instructional activity provides an introduction to flag football. Topics covered include catching, throwing, route running, and defense. Players will also participate in various drill-games through fun-competition.

This instructional activity provides an introduction to hitting a baseball. Skills covered include stance, tee work, and toss drills. Players will also participate in various hitting games through fun-competition.
This instructional activity provides an introduction to pitching and fielding a baseball. Skills covered include stance, grips, infield, and outfield. Players will also participate in various pitching and fielding games through fun-competition.
This activity helps players work and build their basketball skills. Skills and Drills covered include dribbling, passing, layups, and shooting. Players will also participate in various drill-games through fun-competition.

This activity offers individuals an opportunity to work at their own pace while learning the proper technique and fundamentals of boxing. Participants in this class will focus on the following but not limited hand eye coordination, foot work, speed, proper boxing stance, defensive techniques, and different punch types. There will be equipment provided but participants are welcome to bring their own. No ring is needed and this is a non-contact activity (there will be no striking or punching participants registered for the activity.)
